The ISIE 2023 Organizing Committee solicits tutorial and workshop proposals from field experts in all areas of interest for IES. The tutorials could cover research in emerging areas, as well as more established cutting-edge techniques with strong practical and industrial relevance.

The organizing committee of the IEEE-ISIE 2023 to be held in Helsinki, Finland from June 19-21, 2023, invites proposals for tutorials on technical areas of interest for Industrial Electronics Society (IES). The tutorials offered by field experts are to cover cutting edge technical topics that are of utmost use for academia, practicing engineers, and researchers, and are expected to have direct relevance for the needs of the industry. We encourage tutorials supported by practical implementations, wherever possible.

The proposers are sought to be among leading experts in the selected field of research and to provide an engaging, interactive platform for active participation from the audience.

Suitable tutorial topics range from emerging research areas to more established cutting-edge techniques of practical and industrial relevance. While IEEE-ISIE 2023 organizing committee would particularly encourage tutorial topics related to the IES tracks and conference themes, tutorials in emerging topics also of relevance for Industrial Electronics are also welcomed.

ISIE Tutorial Proposal Form:

• Title of the Proposal
• Presenter(s) (Title, name, affiliation)
• Brief description (Not more than 600 words)
• Presentation duration
• Outline (The outline shall provide a concise description of the covered topics and subtopics, omitting unnecessary details; not more than 600 words)
• Motivation and Focus (Briefly explain why this topic is important for industrial IES community and outline the learning outcomes; not more than 600 words)
• Brief CV (Photo, name, email, and short CV)
• Relevant publications

The organizing committee of the IEEE-ISIE 2023 to be held in Helsinki, Finland from June 19-21, 2023, invites proposals for workshops to address cutting edge research and developments in technological sciences in the technical scope of the conference and of interest for the Industrial Electronics Society (IES).

The proposals, to be sent to tutorial.chairs.isie2023@ieee-ies.org, should be structured as follows:

• Title of the Workshop
• Names and contact addresses of all organizers
• Bio sketches of all organizers (around 500 words) accompanied by a list of their publications relevant to the workshop's subject matter(s)
• Reasons, which in view of the organizers, make their proposal relevant and of interest to the IEEE-ISIE 2023 Conference attendees and the IES community
• Summary of the subject matter(s) covered by the workshop - no less than 500 words
• Outline of the Workshop: presentation titles and their order, names and affiliations of the speakers accompanied by their bio sketches (around 500 words) and a list of their publications (it does not apply to speakers from industry) relevant to the workshop's subject matter(s)
