Theme:

Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) enable seamless integration of control and monitoring, of physical objects. With the expanding use in complex industrial processes, there is an increasing need to develop technically robust and economically profitable ICPS. This special session addresses the sustainability of ICPS, with a particular focus on maintaining a secure and reliable operation in a dynamic, uncertain, or even hostile environment. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to fault detection, attack prevention, remaining useful life estimation, reliability and maintainability of ICPS. We expect both academic researchers and industrial practitioners to submit their new ideas, findings, approaches, frameworks, tools, or case studies to this Special Session.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Anomaly and fault detection
  • Condition monitoring and degradation modelling
  • Remaining useful life estimation
  • Reliability and maintainability of ICPS
  • Resilience evaluation and enhancement
  • Safety and security risk assessment
  • Incident prevention and mitigation
  • Self-adaptive ICPS
  • Cyber-physical vulnerability and resiliency analysis
  • CPS safety and security related to energy production and supply chain
